Riker

Sometimes at intake the right name hasn't shown itself yet, and puppies like this one end up being called "puppy number one."  Mostly because he has ~such~ a puppy face!  He could illustrate any wonderful childrens book with that face.   And as number one, the name Riker was just the next logical step...make it so!

Riker is an absolute gem of a puppy.  He's smart and loyal and very tolerant of kiddo energy.  He's brilliant with kids, cats, and other dogs.  This cattle dog/pug/pomeranian mix has the heart and mind to be the absolute best family member out there!
